Cllr Jabulile Ndebele Remembered as a Passionate Public Servant

The Gert Sibande District Municipality (GSDM) is mourning the loss of Councillor Jabulile Ndebele, a dedicated public representative who served both the Chief Albert Luthuli Local Municipality and the GSDM Council since 2021.
Cllr Ndebele, who represented the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), passed away recently, leaving behind a legacy of passion, commitment, and public service.
GSDM Speaker Busisiwe Sekhonde expressed heartfelt condolences on behalf of the district municipality, describing Ndebeleâs passing as a profound loss to the institution and the communities she served.
âShe was vibrant, passionate and committed to public service,â said Sekhonde. âHer contributions to council decisions will be remembered with great respect and admiration.â
Ndebele was known for her active involvement in council discussions, her drive to address community challenges, and her dedication to ensuring development across the district.
Her work left a mark on both municipalities, and her absence will be deeply felt by her colleagues, constituents, and political peers.
Sekhonde extended her sympathies to Cllr Ndebeleâs family, the EFF, and all who had the privilege of working with her.
âMay her soul rest in peace,â she said.
